The return policy for hmsltd.ca is as follows:
Customers have 30 days to decide if an item is right for them. If a return is desired, it can be made at any H&M store in Canada or registered in the return portal. Most items will be refunded within 30 days of delivery, provided they have not been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn and that all labels and tags are attached.
Exceptions include:
- After 30 days, an e-merchandise credit will be issued.
- For hygienic reasons, bodysuits, hosiery, underwear, swimwear (excluding bikini tops), cosmetics, earrings, and face masks cannot be returned online or in stores.
- Sale items are final sale — returns or exchanges will not be accepted.
- Items purchased with a discount code or during a site-wide promotion are not considered final sale unless they are in the SALE section. These are subject to the same return policy as full-priced items.
- Special collections and designer collaborations may be subject to a return policy which differs from the standard return policy.
- A small number of products cannot be returned to store.
Exchanges cannot be made online. If a different color or size is preferred, the unwanted items should be returned and a new order placed on hm.com. Returns or exchanges can be made for free in any H&M store in Canada. To return or exchange any articles purchased online in-store, please bring the article(s) along with your digital receipt/confirmation email or the QR code found in your H&M account within 30 days of delivery. Stores will not accept online returns after 30 days from your delivery date. If a return is needed after 30 days, please send the items back to the warehouse for e-merchandise credit. All articles with a receipt can be returned, except for final sale items and the restrictions listed above.
Articles from H&M HOME, Bras & Tights departments purchased online may only be returned by mail. Incorrect orders—such as orders delivered with the wrong item(s)—cannot be returned or processed in our stores. For missing items, please contact Customer Service for assistance. Damaged orders cannot be returned or processed in our stores.
